There is nothing like the smell and warmth of a small fire to make you feel like you are camping. A campfire becomes the focal point for talk, ideas, shared drinks and laughter. It sets the tone for a relaxing time of shared memories with others.
The counter point to a campfire could be, smoke, smoky clothes, smoke in the eyes, the threat of it spreading and the clean up. These are the reasons I love my Solo Stove. The Solo Stove burns clean and once going produces very little smoke. It burns hot and efficient so in the morning all you have to do is dump out the ash.
The Solo Stove has become the focal point in my “make fire” kit. It comes in a nice bag to which I’ve added: small splitter, hatchet, matches, kindling and fire starter. Once camp is set up I can have a nice fire going in just minutes, and once started does not go out as long as I feed it. Over the Solo Stove many hot dogs can be roasted, marsh-mellows burned and becomes the source for many s’mores to be had.
We love the stove so much that we are getting a second stove for our backyard. The heavy gauge stainless steel should last for years to come.
